Here's how Meghan Markle's royal duties will change once Prince William becomes king

Meghan Markle's royal duties will likely increase as the monarchs change.  According to former royal butler Grant Harrold, Markle will be expected to take on duties on behalf of the monarch once Prince William becomes king.  It's highly unlikely that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will ever rule the Commonwealth, but she will have more responsibility as sister-in-law to the king. 

Meghan Markle has settled into her role as the Duchess of Sussex with aplomb. But how will her responsibilities shift as she and Prince Harry climb closer to the top of the line of succession?

According to former royal butler Grant Harrold, Meghan's duties are likely to increase when Prince William becomes king.
