Meghan Markle's royal duties will likely increase as the monarchs change.  According to former royal butler Grant Harrold, Markle will be expected to take on duties on behalf of the monarch once Prince William becomes king.  It's highly unlikely that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will ever rule the Commonwealth, but she will have more responsibility as sister-in-law to the king.

Meghan Markle has settled into her role as the Duchess of Sussex with aplomb. But how will her responsibilities shift as she and Prince Harry climb closer to the top of the line of succession?

According to former royal butler Grant Harrold, Meghan's duties are likely to increase when Prince William becomes king. Now, even though we still have a few monarchs to go before that happens (Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles, respectively), our curiosity was piqued.See the rest of the story at Business Insider

How long your sunscreen actually protects you, according to dermatologists

A sunscreen's sun protection factor (SPF) is only fully effective for two hours after you put it on.  Experts recommend carrying a bottle of SPF 30 to SPF 50 sunscreen around with you, even on cloudy or rainy summer days, so you can throw some on if the sun comes out. You can still get a tan with sunscreen on, because while SPF blocks damaging UVB rays, it doesn't prevent deep-seeping UVA rays from penetrating your skin and giving it color.

Sun-soaking season is here, and that means that if you don't lather up with sunscreen, you could be doing serious damage to your skin cells' DNA, setting yourself up to develop a potentially deadly form of cancer.

Melanoma kills more than 10,000 Americans every year, according to the Skin Cancer Foundation. See the rest of the story at Business Insider
